I ceased buying in August after the Shiren disaster and I still have 2 pending games: a BMZ3 ultra CE that's being held by a Cadmium Tank, and that PS4 Ultimate Edition Castlevania collection. The amount of Q1 2022 titles on the website is utterly absurd. MOD works OK-ish for standard editions I reckon, but their CE wait times are silly and it'd be more easier to deal with if the status updates were more frequent, over email, and not stealthy like they are now. Seriously, if I get so upset over a product being handled the way it was that I am bedridden for a weekend in misery, you fucked up BIG TIME.) (They got me a jewel case, then Doug blocked me when I didn't roll over to supporting them due to their bait and switch bullshit being such a bad burn on me mentally and emotionally. A friggin box with not even a plastic window is absolutely fucking unacceptable for the final Vita CE, and I still don't have a damn PC-DVD for Shiren the Wanderer. In other LRG musings (I guess this could be renamed to LRG Quality Control Concerns: The Thread at this rate), Considering how LRG's quality Control has gone down a sharp cliff and their public reactions to folks unhappy about stuff like SMB Vita's CE is to direct them to a private support ticket, or just pout on twitter about people being unhappy with the company getting mad at them, I don't think LRG will ever improve with stuff like this: CEs getting more expensive despite less stuff in them, and the stuff they do put in them no longer seem to match the quality of their earlier days. Pretty much saying DVD-R with a working Monkey Island 2 is better than nothing. Their replacements if you request via support (That they didn't bother to publicly inform folks about) are poorly made DVD-R copies, which my source DM'd me a statement from a LRG staffer (shown in the embed) with the closest thing to a response. Not quite apt: all Monkey Island CEs have the normal DVDs, it's just some of them are broken and defective.
